Labour Immigrants stable
The CBS states in the report explicitly that there is only a weak link between the shortage on the labour market and the rise in immigrants. Asylum seekers are the main reason for the rise.

More then 22 000 immigrants are born on the American continent. Half of them come from the Dutch Antilles, Aruba and former colony Surinam. The number of Antilleans rose strong, to 10 000 in 2000.
