The Netherlands said to have supported the US

Amsterdam, Friday, May 04, 2001 12:10:55. In the diplomatic struggle for membership of the important UN Human Rights Commission the Netherlands asked, on behave of the United Stated, two European countries, Austria and Sweden, to withdraw their candadacies. They declined however.
